Eligibility Criteria

Nationality/Citizenship

A candidate must be either:

IBPS PO coaching
  • A Citizen of India, or
  • A subject of Nepal, or
  • A subject of Bhutan, or
  • A Tibetan refugee who came to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
  • A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, or Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India (an eligibility certificate from the  Government of India is required for these categories).

Educational Qualification (As on 21.07.2026)

Post Qualification Required
Probationary Officer/Management Trainee A Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a University recognised by the Government of India, or an equivalent qualification recognised by the Central Government.

Candidates must possess a valid mark-sheet/degree certificate confirming graduation on the day of registration and must indicate the percentage of marks obtained in graduation while registering online.

Age Limit (As on 01.07.2026)

  • Minimum Age: 20 years
  • Maximum Age: 30 years
  • A candidate must have been born not earlier than 02.07.1996 and not later than 01.07.2006 (both dates inclusive).

The relaxation in upper age limit for SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates is allowed on a cumulative basis with only one of the remaining categories. The maximum age limit is applicable to General Category and Economically Weaker Section (EWS) candidates.

There is a penalty of 1/4th (0.25) marks for each wrong answer in the objective tests. No penalty applies for unattempted questions.

Interview and Final Merit

  • Total marks for Interview: 100
  • Minimum qualifying marks in interview: 40% (35% for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates)
  • Weightage ratio of Online Main Exam to Interview: 80:20
  • Final merit is based on combined score of Main Exam and Interview.

Required Documents

  • Proof of Date of Birth (Birth Certificate or SSLC/Std. X Certificate with DOB)

  • Caste Certificate (for SC/ST/OBC candidates, in prescribed format)
  • Income and Asset Certificate (for EWS candidates)
  • Disability Certificate (for PwBD candidates, issued by District Medical Board)
  • Scribe-related certificate/undertaking (if applicable)
  • Ex-servicemen documents (Discharge book, pension order, rank proof), if applicable

  3. Click on “CLICK HERE TO APPLY ONLINE FOR CRP-PROBATIONARY OFFICERS/MANAGEMENT TRAINEES (CRP-PO/MT-XVI)”.
  4. Click “CLICK HERE FOR NEW REGISTRATION” and fill in basic details to generate a provisional registration number and password.
  5. Upload photograph, signature, left thumb impression, hand-written declaration, SSC/SSLC/10th standard certificate, and other required documents as per specifications.
  6. Fill in the online application form carefully using the “SAVE AND NEXT” option.
  7. Pay the application fee/intimation charges online.
  8. Click “COMPLETE REGISTRATION” after verifying all details.

Important Instructions

  • No change/modification/correction is allowed after the expiry of the Edit Window.
