Other Important Information

- Probation Period: Selected candidates will be appointed as Administrative Officer (Scale-I) on probation for one year (extendable at Company’s discretion). During probation, candidates must pass the non-life ‘Licentiate Examination’ conducted by Insurance Institute of India for confirmation of service.
- Guarantee Bond: Selected candidates must give an undertaking to serve the Company for a minimum of 5 years (including probationary period). Resignation before bond period attracts liquidated damages equivalent to actual gross salary (not exceeding one year’s gross salary) plus Rs. 35,000/- towards Onboarding and Integration cost.
- Posting: Vacancies are substantially in Western and Southern Zones. Initial posting for minimum 5 years; no transfer requests entertained during this period. Company may post/transfer candidates anywhere in India.
- Pre-Examination Training (PET): Online PET will be arranged for SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy)/PwBD candidates as per Government of India guidelines.
- Scribe Facility: Available for Visually Impaired and PwBD candidates whose writing speed is adversely affected. Compensatory time of 20 minutes per hour of examination is allowed for eligible candidates.
- Biometric Verification: Photo and thumb impression/IRIS Scan may be captured at various stages for verification.
- Negative Marking: 1/4th mark deducted for each wrong answer in both Preliminary and Main Examinations. No penalty for unanswered questions.
- Eligibility Date: All eligibility conditions (age, qualification) are as on 30.06.2026.
- Existing AOs not eligible: Candidates currently serving as Administrative Officers (Scale-I) in UIIC are not eligible to apply.
- Jurisdiction: Any disputes arising out of this process shall be subject to the sole jurisdiction of Courts situated in Chennai.
- EWS Income Limit: Family gross annual income below Rs. 8 lakh for financial year 2025-26. Certificate must be issued after 31.03.2026.
